Product Description
The Orion SpaceProbe II 76 mm Reflector Telescope is a highly affordable, easy-to-use beginner telescope. It is good for all-around astronomical observing, lightweight, and highly portable. The whole family will enjoy it!
Built around a 76mm diameter primary mirror, the Orion SpaceProbe II 76 mm Altazimuth Reflector Telescope also gathers enough light to view Saturn's rings, Jupiter's moons, the terrain of our own Moon's surface, as well as some more exotic star clusters and distant nebulas! The SpaceProbe focal length of 700mm (f/9.2) is long enough to provide magnification of 28x and 70x with the included Kellner Explorer II 25mm and 10mm eyepieces, respectively.
The Newtonian reflector optical tube is made of aluminum and it features a 1.25" rack-and-pinion focuser for use with standard size eyepieces to provide a sharp image and large field-of-view. A wide-field EZ Finder II reflex sight is also included to aid in locating objects and aiming the SpaceProbe 3 telescope.
The adjustable-height Altazimuth tripod is easier to use than equatorial mounts and includes an accessory tray and aluminum legs. This mount allows for simple up/down and left/right motion. Easy-to-understand instructions are included to get you observing the sky quickly. Ships in one box with some assembly required.
